How does the season work?
The Pinnacle Golf Tour season consists of 8 professionally operated tournaments held from February through October at premier Central Florida golf courses.
Each event contributes to the season-long points race. The top performers earn their place in the Tour Championship.
What formats are played?
PGT features competitive formats designed to reward performance and consistency:

Every format is structured under USGA guidelines to ensure fairness and integrity.
How do I qualify for the Tour Championship?
Players must compete in at least 4 events to be eligible.
Tournament winners receive an automatic exemption into the Tour Championship.
Who is eligible to compete?
PGT is open to amateur golfers with an active USGA Handicap Index. This ensures fair competition across the field.
What handicap system is used?
We use the USGA Handicap System, with course handicaps calculated prior to each event based on slope and rating.
Handicaps are verified and updated to protect competitive integrity.
What does tournament entry include?
Entry typically includes:

What is the entry fee?

Is there a Season Pass?
When offered, the Season Pass provides entry into all regular-season events along with exclusive player benefits. Availability is limited.
When does registration close?
Registration closes one week prior to each event or when the field is full.
What is the refund policy?
Refunds and transfers follow our official Tour Policies. We encourage early registration to secure your spot.
How are points earned?
Points are awarded from 1st through 36th place at each event. The more you compete — and the better you perform — the stronger your position in the standings.
Where can I view standings?
Official standings are updated after each tournament and published on the website.
Do points carry over into the next season?
No. Each season begins with a clean slate and a new race to the Tour Championship.
How are Ties Broken?
Ties are broken with a countback system.
Are there payouts?
Yes. Each event awards cash prizes to:

The Tour Championship features its own elevated prize structure, announced prior to the event.

What tees do players compete from?
To ensure competitive balance:
Age 60+: 6,000–6,300 yards
Under 60: 6,301–6,600 yards
